About me...

My name is John Haynes and I spent 42 years in the start-up world helping start 16 high-tech and medical device companies. I also spent time in the United States Air Force, worked for Del Monte Foods when I was in high school and college, and spent a number of years on the race track with the American LeMan and Grand-Am racing series. I have traveled extensively for business and pleasure and know the meaning of good customer service. I'm a big sports fan, especially our San Francisco Giants!
 
I purchased my retirement home in Lake Wildwood in 2006 and spent the next nine years commuting up on the weekends and holidays from Pleasanton, spending lots of time enjoying this wonderful community. In April of 2015 I finally retired from the high-tech world. In July of 2015 I moved permanently to Lake Wildwood and am pleased to call it home.
 
I have become involved in the LWW community; being the start-up guy I have looked for ways to serve the community and keep busy with something other than personal hobbies and projects around the house. When one of my friends suggested a shuttle service being really needed, I dove into it head first. After placing a questionnaire on the Lake Wildwood/Penn Valley Facebook page, NextDoor.com and the TWI, so many favorable responses were received that I decided to forge ahead and on July 27, 2016 www.shuttlewithzoomies.com was launched.

After 28 very successful months, I took a leave of absence due to COVID and personal reasons. As of August 20, 2023, Zoomies has re-launched. I am thrilled to serve Lake Wildwood and surrounding communities again.
